The Rock 1996
Hello here again your friend @junior182
Time without writing on this platform for reasons that I am working in a food company (flour processor) and it is very far from my house, I spend all day outside my house, I arrive tired and defeated, sometimes I watch a movie and in Some I confess that I fall asleep from the tired. Last night I saw a movie that I had not seen for a while and since today due to lack of a car I could not move to my workplace I decided with you the movie that I saw, here in Venezuela we have been in quarantine but some essential companies such as food companies have not work stopped. The movie I saw was "The Rock"
This film focuses on pain, rage, helplessness in how the United States governments defame the memory of people they had in combat, apart from recognizing or giving financial help to the relatives of the fallen who gave their lives for their country
Summary
This film begins with a group of the United States Marine Corps, is honoring fallen personnel and funeral acts, while another part, General Francis Hummel, is sitting smoking a cigar, looks in the mirror and stands up. to dress in his uniform while his mind lives the moment of the war he lived, of the comrades who fell, in how his troops asked for help on the radio and informed him of what was happening, General Hummel said "I am not leaving him son , I will not abandon him ”while he starts asking the aviation for help to get his troops out, from there to Hummel he has the answer that he does not have permission to go after the enemy lines, to which a silence is heard and some of his troops they say "they will NOT come looking for us sir" there is an explosion, after the war is over he goes to the congressmen and committee of members of special armed services where he hears saying "he is coming to protesting a serious injustice ”(the lack of financial aid to the relatives of the fallen troops), in the next scene he is entering the cemetery with flowers it is raining while a group of the Marine Corps is leaving, he is heading to a He falls under the name Barbara Humel, his beloved wife, He says: that he misses her, confesses that he has to do something, that he could not do while he lived, that he tries but was not taken into account, you will take other measures to make him heard.
To which General Hummel decides to steal fifteen missiles loaded with nerve gas VX, where it leads to the oldest and most secure prison, Alcatraz, in addition to capturing 82 hostages, he reports that threats to fire the missiles in the city of San Francisco if he does not give him a hundred million dollars (where this reward will be distributed to the relatives of the fallen, since they were not endorsed after their relatives gave their lives for their country). The government decides to send a troop in order to rescue the hostages and capture the group that is with General Hummel, but in order to enter without being detected, it decides to release John Mason, the former British secret agent of the SAS, where after stealing a microfilm (where information is found from the murder of Jhon Kenedi to what happened in Roswell), Mason was in Alcatraz prison and has been the only one who has escaped from that prison, apart from trusting one of the best officials in the Chemical weapons laboratory of the FBI Stanley Goodspeed, the troop together with these two people decides to enter without being seen by the black water tunnels (route that Mason used to escape), upon entering it reaches the bathrooms but this one had motion sensors are detected Because of being in a position from below and not obeying the orders to lower the weapons, a firefight begins which leaves the entire troop dead, leaving only Mason and Goodspeed alive. Mason decides to escape but Goodspeed asks for his help to disarm the missiles, where Goodspeed tells him to do it for his daughter, for the girlfriend who traveled to meet him and is pregnant, from here the great adventure begins inside the prison and to disarm the rockets and rescue the hostages.

My opinion
It is a great movie to enjoy in this quarantine where we must be at home with our relatives, taking care of ourselves and distracting our minds a little away from a little bit of news. It is a film that its special effects, the plot the actors, the lighting makes you live the moments of the film in every second and focus on its plot, it is a film as they say engaging.
