One of my favorite comedy series of all time is undoubtedly The Big Bang Theory, a sitcom that I began to see by chance but quickly became a cult comedy for me for how well its entire plot was developed, and is that The Big Bang Theory became a series that made me love the characters and the different memorable situations they represented, not to mention the many references that the series used to consolidate and entertain more. Finally today I do not come to give you my opinion of The Big Bang Theory, but rather a series that is quickly filling that void that our beloved group of scientists left; it is Young Sheldon, yes a series that transports us to the past so that we can explore more in detail the adventures of Sheldon Cooper.

Young Sheldon is a series that, as you have probably already deduced, takes us back to the past so that we can explore the adventures of our peculiar but beloved scientist during his childhood. This series shows us Sheldon's endless adventures while he was still a child and living with the rest of his family, a family that has had to adapt for a long time to the peculiar attitudes of the young prodigy, a young man whose behavior as a child was as "peculiar" as that as an adult, but still managed to charm us. All the plot of the series turns and focuses mainly on the beginnings of Sheldon in the world of science, through the chapters we can see how it came to develop in the great scientist who ended up being as an adult, going through different special moments that helped him to build his scientific mind and above all his character.

I really like this series because it allows us to explore in detail different references that we could see in The Big Bang Theory and that perhaps we did not understand well, for example in this series we will see how the young Sheldon develops his love for comics and trains something he carries with him until his adult life and becomes a determining factor in his life. We will also be able to explore his relationship with other members of the family that we hardly saw in The Big Bang Theory and that here allows us to establish a background of what his behavior was like before moving to California. It is really fascinating to see the young scientist's interactions with his sister who constantly bothers him and questions him for his particular tastes and attitudes. Without forgetting that the series also allows us to see how this young man forged relationships with people who helped him in his long journey through science.

Undoubtedly this is a great series that I am sure will become another classic of comedy because it has everything to do, memorable and fun moments, moments of reflection, sad moments and above all many details of the life of a man we learned to love. In addition, the series has the performance of a child who really makes us believe that it is a young version of Sheldon, ie his way of speaking, acting and behaving with others is exactly the same as the adult Sheldon, not forgetting that physically the child looks a lot like the adult Sheldon.

A series that basically manages to continue with the legacy that The Big Bang Theory left and that we will miss so much, a series that even uses as a narrator the actor who gave life to Sheldon to make it more serious and entertaining. No doubt this is a series that so far has enchanted me in each of its chapters.
