Sad Love Story

Her eyes, like garnets. Very beautiful yet every time you
look at them they were filled with clear blue tears. Always
with that scared look in her eyes, her tears just wont stop.
Her heart is consumed by fear and sorrow over her love.
Biting her lip trying to hold in the tears, blood runs down
her mouth. Her thoughts, all about the pain she had
caused him. "I'm nothing but a burden..." She spoke these
words purposely hurting herself, she wanted to make the
pain she inflicted on herself ten times worse than the pain
she had made him go through. Every night all she had
were nightmares, him leaving. Her mother concerned
about her health asked if they could help in any possible
way. She smiles sadly and shakes her head slowly. Her
wrist, a scar from a failed attempt to end her life. She no
longer cared about herself, she thought he would be
better off with her dead. He knew nothing of this, she
doesn’t want to be anymore of a burden than she already
was. She knows he likes her but, she is guilt consumed.
She was nothing more than a pathetic excuse for a girl.
Everyday she would anxiously wait to see if he would say
"I'm tired of you. Leave me alone." The very thought was
like someone stabbing her already broken heart.
The only days she could relax a little were the rainy days.
She would stand outside, and let the rain drown her. On
sunny days she would lock herself in her room and would
either sing, draw or write. She had no confidence so she
always gave up quickly. Then, a sudden rush of sadness
hit her. Tears welled in her eyes as she remembered the
hurt look on his face. She had hurt her one and only love.
She needed to hear his voice. She dug through her bag
taking out her phone. 20 MISSED CALLS. All from her
friends. They were worried about her but, she mearly told
then to please mind their own business. She didn’t want
to be a burden to them either. She dialed his number.
Then waiting. He picked up. "Hey, whats up? You ok?" She
began sobbing over the phone, regretting calling him.
"Scarlet! Whats wrong??!" She couldn’t tell him that would
just cause him to worry. "N-nothing..." She heard a sigh.
"Don’t lie to me." He said coldly. She flinched thinking she
should just die..just die. Her mind and heart both telling
her that was what she had to do, just die. She smiled.
"Good-bye Blake...this is the last time...I Love you, and
I’m sorry for everything." "what are you-" She hung up.
She had better hurry, He didn’t live far. He would be here
in about 5 minutes. She went into the bathroom and took
her mothers medication. No one was home. She was
alone. Quickly she took seven pills at once. Then walked
back into her room, knife in hand. Tears still flowing she
heard a knock downstairs. He had a key to her house.
She had better hurry. She couldn’t feel anything as she sat
on her bed knocking over papers. It didn’t matter now.
Knife at her heart. Her door swung open. She shoved the
knife into her heart. She couldn’t feel, only saw the
horrified expression on her lovers face. He ran to her side
and grabbed the phone on her bed. Dialed 911, and began
to cry. With her last dying breath she said "Don’t...waste
your precious...tears on me...I love you...too much..to
bear to see you...cry..." Her body went limp, blood stained
his clothes and the floor. "please don’t leave me!!" He
cried. Tears still flowing from her lifeless eyes. She died
in his arms...Like she always wanted too...
