"Ode to the Blockchain - a Meta-Poem"

A Steemit account was created with cash,
first converted to bitcoin, which bought up some steem.
Powered up, the paid posts soon accrued a small stash
That empowered an old author's dream.

The minnow soon swam with some fiction-mad dolphins
she met there on Discord in Minnow Support.
And the group of them whale-watched and workshopped their dauphins
and that was a lucrative sport!

But the writer was never content to just write
about royalty's sons from a kingdom in France.
'Cause her interests were piqued by the crypto geist-zeit
and the currency choice it enhanced.

So she typed up a poem, an Ode to the Blockchain,
and dressed up the posting with Pixabay shots.
In the comments, the bit-nerds were quick to explain
that their upvotes were handled by bots.

The verses went viral; she thanked MSP's
open platform that built them such strong unity.
Through curation and workshops and post nominees,
MSP had created community.
