The ancient tomb is known as the Tomb of the Kings of Aceh Bugis descent.This tomb is located at Jalan Sultan Alauddin Mahmudsyah no. 12 Peuniti Sub-district, Baiturrahman Sub-district, Banda Aceh City, Aceh Province. He ruled the Sultanate of Aceh Darussalam from 1735 to 1760.Sultan Muhammad Daud Syah is the 35th Sultan of Aceh and the last Sultan of Aceh. He was crowned sultan at the Indrapuri Mosque in 1878 until surrendering to the Dutch on 10 January 1903. He was exiled to Ambon, and last transferred to Batavia until his death on February 6, 1939. He is known as the Sultan of Aceh who reigns without a palace.
