Genesis restaurant is having a slow day as not too many customers are seen dinning. The beautiful blonde waitress walks towards the two lovebirds that can't seem to get their hands off each other and visibly oblivious to the waitress standing infront.

The waitress coughs to inform them of her presence, standing with a pen and paper ready to take their orders.

"Sharon? Sharon! um, is so g..o..o..d to to see see you. I mean, It's been what? Two months? You work in a diner now? " The man asks, trying not to sound too shocked even though he looks like he's just been caught pants down.

"Please what can we serve you? We have lobster rolls, avocado toast, mini-desserts, fries and chicken and if you are a vegan, we have got an upscale-"

"Sharon please, don't act like you don't know me."

"-Upscale vegan cooking. We've also got lovely fried chicken sandwiches and if you do coffee, we make great coffee too." She forces a smile.

He tries to touch her but was stopped by his companion giving him an angry look. He was seriously perspirating.

"So, what will the order be?"

"Sharon please! I never thought I'll run into you here. I'm really sorry for ... You must believe me." Wipes off the tiny sweat droplets. "This is not what you think, I'm...." scratches his head looking at the bulge in her stomach, "Are you pregnant?

"I see you are not hungry." She looks at his companion observingly, "Take him home will you? He doesn't look too well and make sure he doesn't dump you two weeks to your wedding. That's if he doesn't wait 7 years before finally proposing."

The waitress walks away, teary eyed, it's definitely going to be a long evening.
