Happy Tourism Day!
Today, Sep 27th, is a Day of Tourism in Ukraine. On this occasion I made a collage (my first collage ever, by the way!) of my photographs taken on different years and locations, but all they are about travels.
Okay, I see the difference between travels and tourism. Till 2014, I used to travel abroad. And after 2014 Ukrainian revolution I got 2 important reasons to travel around Ukraine. Foreign travels became too expensive, and I wished to learn more about my country.
Our tourism is still at the beginning of the long way, but things changes very much for last few years. Although Ukraine got a visa-free regime with EU and some other countries, Ukrainians keep discovering their land and see its diversity and beauty with new eyes. And I am very happy about this happening, because traveling is what I love from the early childhood. To move, walk, drive, fly... Life is very long and very short. All depend how do we fill it.

I also love the travel and there is no place I would rather be than to be discovering new places and things, then going back to revist my favorite. How fortunate to be able to travel so extensively for a while and I am with you on discovering home too. I have refocused my travels on my own country, forgetting how much beauty we have and the diverse weather, topography and architecture to name a few.
A wonderful post and made me rething my old adventures!

Oh yes, USA is a unique country for a traveler. It's nature and culture is is rich, I think life isn't enough to see everything :)
Anyway, rich or poor, it is good to know about your homeland.
