Itty Bitty Photo-Bomber

This lil' guy was sooooo tiny, I didn't even notice him until I was at my desk, weeks later.

Somehow he managed to scurry over the surface of the water, perfectly timing his miniature photo-bomb, hitting my ultra-narrow focal point at precisely the right 500th of a second to be caught by my shutter, now forever frozen beneath magical droplets on a feathery seedpod.

And they say magic isn't real.

I did! He's a bit out of focus, of course, but I saw him when I noticed the other guy. They were so micro that they just skimmed over the surface of the water and didn't even cause a tiny ripple!
