#introduceyourselfsteemCreated with Sketch.

Hey Everyone!

My name is Zion, and I'm extremely excited to have the opportunity to connect, learn, and hopefully provide useful and interesting content for/with you guys, and this is my #Introduceyourself post.

I'd like to give you guys some background info on me to start. So I'm from Milwaukee Wisconsin in the United States, and have lived here my whole life so far. Although, I do plan on moving away some time in the near future to potentially Cali. But, when thinking about Wisconsin, there's so many different things that we're known for.................................but not really though. Mostly just #beerandcheese 😂

Mmmmmmmmmm

As you can probably imagine, this is where my love of cheese has stemmed from...

On a less salivating note, in terms of my personality, I'd consider myself a forward-thinker who loves a good challenge. But who doesn't am I right? I mean there's just something about pushing yourself to your limits and testing your absolutes that's fun to me. Why take the easy route when you can take a risk? Maybe the risk pays off, but maybe it doesn't. You won't know unless you try. That's the fun of it I guess. I'm also the type of person who really enjoys helping other people in any way I can, and also the type who is dedicating their life to that exact concept. You can thank my good ol' grandma for that.

On a regular day-to-day basis I really only like to do a few different things. I'd say Most of my time is spent on doing research and trading/investing in #cryptocurrency.

If you aren't into it you probably wouldn't understand me when I say that it can be both my favorite activity of the day, or the most annoying shit ever😂. But besides all of the crypto stuff, I really love playing basketball and working out, running, watching sports like football, basketball, and soccer occasionally, and just hanging out and relaxing with my friends. These activities assist in taking your mind off of crypto or another work-related activity when you need a break. I'll actually do a post on that at some point soon😏.

But let's get into why I'm here

Steemit stumbled into my life unexpectedly when the crypto bug bit me in September 2017 actually. But it wasn't actually until I was in the space for months until I decided to dig into Steemit further than surface level and get an actual look at it. After reading all about what it is, I decided it would be a splendid opportunity to network with some new people who share similar interests as me, learn about others ideas and concepts, and help other people in multiple fashions as well. It seems it's all about spreading the wealth at Steemit, and that fits perfectly well with my personality.

I'm really looking forward to becoming an active blogger on this platform, and will be providing several different types of value to my followers. Now in my opinion there are five different types of value a person can provide to another person. I did get this list of five from a fellow Steemian, but I can't remember his name because I read his post so long ago. But, here they are.

1. Informational/Educational Value

2.Entertainment Value

3.Inspirational Value

4.Originality Value

5.Ease-of-readability Value

Now on this magical journey I call life I decided to stop at Steemit to help provide value to the community and hopefully retain some value myself. This is why when you read my posts you're going to get a taste of all five flavors of value at some point or another. Some posts will be based on simply technical analysis or cryptocurrency(Informational or Educational Value), while others will instead focus on building a better you(Inspirational Value), and everything in between! I'll strive to ensure every person gets what they want out of my posts. In fact, In the future I plan on allowing my followers to vote on what topic or concept I should cover in my upcoming post. Heck, I'll even throw cute pictures of puppies in there for no gosh darn reason other than the fact that this good boy deserves to be seen by everyone😍!

I have no idea what his name is, but I'm gonna call him doodle. Anyways, I promise to provide useful, creative, insightful and all-around positive content for all of my followers to utilize in any way they wish. I plan on posting at least two times a week, but hopefully more often than not three to four times. Like I said before, my posts content type will range, and will encompass many different interesting topics such as cryptocurrency, motivation, meditation, working out, and more. So be sure to tune-in each week for some new ideas and thoughts I have. My goal is to make this platform a better place and learn as much as I can from you guys as well! After all, receiving is always nice, but giving back is really what warms the heart. With that, I will leave you with a few additional pictures of #puppies and #cats because I know not everyone likes one or the other, but we can all agree that they make reading stuff a lot more fun😁

I picture this little guy with a really quiet bark

I'm allergic to cats. But I'd definitely play with this one.

How could you ever get mad at this face if he peed on your carpet??

This puppy reminds me of a piggy puppy hybrid

Hello zionschum1234567! Welcome to Steemit! Hope you'll like the community here. As a start, here are 5 tips that we believe will be helpful to you:

  1. Keep your passwords safe: Unlike conventional sites, Steemit has 4 types of passwords. Each offers varying degrees of access to your account, so know where and when to use each of them. Also, make sure to keep them all safe and secure.
  2. Get Steem rewards: When writing a post, you'll have the option to choose how to receive your reward: "Default 50%/50%" or "Power Up 100%". As of this moment, choosing Default 50%/50% is the better option. But this can change over time. Check our post to know more.
  3. Upvote wisely: When upvoting, wait at least 30 minutes after the post is published to maximize your curation reward. Also, make sure not to upvote too much too fast so as not to drain your voting power.
  4. Know your Steem, Steem Dollars and Steem Power: Steem and Steem Dollars are the 2 main currencies here. Convert and power up more Steem into Steem Power so you can have higher values on your upvotes.
  5. Have Fun and Enjoy!

Welcome to steemit!

Welcome to Steemit, @zionschum1234567.

Zion is a pretty distinct name. I've not heard of a person named that before, so I'm sure there's a story behind it. :)

I've never been to Wisconsin, but I did live in Southern California for a total of seven years. Weather is good, lots to do, beaches are okay. If life wasn't so expensive to maintain, my wife and sons might have stayed. As it is we moved back to Oregon where I grew up.

It sounds to me like you have a good attitude and a plan for how to navigate Steemit. I would say that having a range of topics can't hurt, especially if it helps you keep from feeling like you're in a rut. Blogging about the same things day in and day out can do that.

I wish you well in your Steemit journey. :)
