DIY : "A Halloweeny Doll"

Howdy guys! how's everyone? As for me , as always busy with offline duties , and i am here today to share to you something that i was busy with yesterday until last night. Let me present to you, "MY HALOWEEN DOLL"

LOL. It was not intended to look scary or halooweeny effect , but expectation was far different from the result. 😂. The reason why i did this is because yesterday Alex's day care teacher sent us all momshies a message to make a doll out of plastic bottle and we need to bring it Monday , so that's tomorrow. So what i did was to watch youtube first so that i will have idea to how start , because as i always say , i am not into art making but i need to be good at that most of the times now because of my kids . So here's another result of my very trying hard doll . But of course as usual it's made out of love for my daughter .And here's the step by step process on how i did it

The materials i used. We have

*plastic bottle of royal softdrinks
*scissors ,
*used paper mostly receipts ,
*scotch tape
*ribbon from the last cake we bought
*bond paper
*glue
*water
*glue stick
*candle
*Black spray paint
*buttons from old shirt

First, i crumpled all the used papers to make it a small circle, there's one big circle which is the doll's head and the small ones.

Then i used the scotch tape to make sure papers will stay on its shape.

Using a glue stick and a candle , i attached the head of the doll to the head of the bottle and attached all the small paper circles to the head to make it doll's hair

After finishing the head , i cut bond paper into small pieces , i made them almost square un shape , then i mixed water with glue

This is the part where it ate almost all my time during the day yesterday. I paste the small square papers using the mixed water&glue to cover up the bottle on the face and the body.

Next thing i did was , putting in a wire as arms and hand of the doll , but i actually removed that later on , because it doesnt look good. LOL.

Another thing i thought would make the doll beautiful is to make a long skirt out of this old folder , but it doean't look good for the doll , well as for my judgement 😂 ,so i removed that as well.

And then , i used this red ribbon as the actual skirt of the doll , like i circularly attached it to the doll.

Then i found this two button , that was supposed to be used for Alex's puppet , now i did use it as the doll's eyes, that i guess it more scary 😂.

Good thing laat month , my brother bought this black spray paint that he did use for his personal toy, so i thought spraying the hair w/ this will make the doll looks more beautiful , well i guess that's the big effect of it being a horror doll now 😅.

So here is the doll now , i also made a ribbon for the head and on the waist , plus a criss-cross something like blouse .

I know it might not look so lovely for others , it may not look a joyish doll and aome kids might get scared , i think .. but as for my girls they wanted to play with it. I was actually a bit disappointed because i thought i can make the same output with what i saw and watched from the internet , but then again , i realized i made it will full love and effort , i got back aches , like on the waist part , i got some super slight burns from the glue stick , and that time i spent doing it while looking after my girls . All of it was all worth it , because we have something to submit tomorrow and yes! i have something that i can post and share ... WALLAH!!!
