About my weekly sailing post I realized 2 things.

1. On Sundays after regattas which are usually 2 days of crazy competition and booze, the last thing I am going to wanna do is rush home and go through video, pictures, and craft world-class STEEMit journalism.
2. There is no alliteration to fit with Monday and I am rather lazy in my MS Paint graphic hackery.

So, this will be come a Monday thing.

Sailing season is around the corner finally and it appears that the weather has finally started to head in the right direction. As a Zeke Peak on my ladder adventures, here is one from today that will show you how it looked this morning. Still no leaves but you have to look hard for the snow.

So, chugging beers at home aren't going to do it unless I dig into some regatta videos. These ones are a bit crappy on the resolution but not the kind you wanna see in 4k with our ugly sunburned mugs.

This one is an example of the scene when there is NO wind on the course during a regatta. Some tunes playing, boat chatter, beers, and a little rocking back and forth to get the keel engaged so that you are drifting in a direction at least. "Sit yo ass down!"

This one shows you what happens when the wind comes up barely enough to race. We had finished the race in this crap-shoot and the guys take a little time to micromanage the tactics of the rest of the fleet and cheer them on. Like a herd of turtles.

Our ride into the club for the collection of our First Overall! I stick a good jab into the fore-deck guy and I think this is minutes before we got the keel stuck on the bottom of the lake! You can see the CN Tower and Toronto Skyline in the background.

Sailing season starts in a couple weeks and this little sip of sunshine will get me one week closer to the action!
