Oh the ladders you will climb!

Prepare yourself for probably the most mind-blowing, scholastic, high-brow, quantum leap of a series that has ever graced the hallowed STEEM-it blockchain. Every now and then, in a world, there is a guy........ah shit I got nuthin'.

I have been finding myself enjoying the range of posts from incredibly complex to simple and fun. From heavy conversations like @whatsup with https://steemit.com/steem/@whatsup/what-is-your-vision-of-steem-can-you-sell-it
to quick and informative hits like @riskdebonair with https://steemit.com/verge/@riskdebonair/verge-and-pornhub-3
to stories stories of adventure like @davedickeyyall https://steemit.com/walkwithme/@davedickeyyall/1-2-miles-to-longbow-arch-a-epic-hike to thought-provoking insight like @whatageek with https://steemit.com/gaming/@whatageek/i-came-across-a-new-term-the-leisure-economy and
life in other places like @segunreus with https://steemit.com/photography/@segunreus/this-is-my-city-lagos-the-big-rich-town or even @overkillcoin withfrogs https://steemit.com/photography/@overkillcoin/froget-about-it-some-frogs-or-whatever-captions (he may be less than pleased with the choice of what I am highlighting because his art is top tier)

Anyhow, I run my own business and one of the ongoing contracts I have involves climbing ladders. Each job I do, I have to snap a picture from the top of the ladder to show the view of the internet access point from the point where I am installing and antenna. Pretty boring stuff about which to blog.

Looking through the picture so I could delete them and make more space for kids, beer, bjj, food, fun and blackmail shots, I figured they might be good for people to see a nice perspective of my little Canadian town, share a little in my livelihood, and perhaps I could snap a shot from time to time that would give those folks with fear of heights the heebee-jeebees.

So behold my adventures for the last week and a bit. Hold the applause and questions til the end.

The excitement of putting ends on twisted pair cat5E wire in the dead of winter up 20 feet cannot be understated.

Snow in April.....srsly.

Riveting. Hospital in the back ground in case I fall off the ladder. box in the foreground if I die on impact.

Fantastic composition and sweeping urban landscapes.

Industrial chic with 75 shades of winter blue.

Stunning midwinter ivy.

A civic wonder in the form of sidewalk shoveling, half-assed civic employee wiring, and my ladder photo-bombs the lower left.

I can't thank you enough for taking the time to see things from my perspective. Please don't resteem because this is far from my proudest hour, and check my other posts for true brilliance by comparison. I will take requests for content in subsequent ladder posts as long as my life is only reasonably put at risk.

Steem on you crazy diamonds

(Special thanks to http://www.drseussart.com/oh-the-places-cover/ who painstakingly crafted the art in my title image and it only cost me 1500 SBD.)

Shaddap you are outing me for the stealing of your shitty idea! ;)

Forgot to make my point for cracking jokes. The mix of informative and funny posts makes reading fun and I loved your frogs and geese.

Hello @zekepickleman, thank you for sharing this creative work! We just stopped by to say that you've been upvoted by the @creativecrypto magazine. The Creative Crypto is all about art on the blockchain and learning from creatives like you. Looking forward to crossing paths again soon. Steem on!

Haha fantastic! Glad you enjoyed it @creativecrypto How did you come to find my silly post and what inspired you to be so generous?

Mental note: Make sure Zeke has no more ladder jobs when he leaves the pub after a liquid lunch.

Hey was that you looking in my window?

OMG! I feel so honoured @zekepickleman you are a great man... Great images Canada is beautiful can't wait to visit my friend do have a lovely weekend ahead bro!

I'm glad you're enjoying my adventures. I'd hate to think I was having all this fun by myself..

You might be surprised at how many times a day I shake my head and picture jumping in a truck and heading to the bush.

Well, at least you have good taste in posts! :) I got triggered by how wintery your pictures look though. We are just starting to get a few nice days here.

Yah supposedly this weekend is going to warm up but my sailing friends on STEEMit are starting to become concerned for my mental well-being with this extended winter.

I really like this post. Thank you for sharing a different aspect of real life. Routine, even mundane parts of life are too often undervalued. Service to others in the form of work has a value beyond the money.

Some folks are very grateful for the delivery of the internet but it rally is just a god way to make some bucks and get off the phone and computer with for a bit.
