#Monochrome Monday
A great discussion about community and contests happened for me this week on #PYPT with the awesome folks at The Ramble https://discord.gg/SdR6aT (Join if you feel a little lonely or need to beef up your network with awesome active folks who manually curate!) Contests are a great way of producing your daily content, adding your photography to the blockchain, and connecting with some likeminded people.
I entered the #Powerhousecreatives sci-fi top 3 contest last week. So, this week I am posting these images for #MonochromeMonday, the weekly photo challenge created by @old-guy-photos. (Follow that guy as he is funny and a solid steem veteran.)
A day on the Manufacturing floor
One of my larger I/T clients is a manufacturer of parts for industrial equipment. I generally just work on the computers, spend my time in the board room, and look down over the jungle that is the shop floor. This week, I got the chance to get down there and run some networking wires for new equipment.
I love the textures of this stuff obviously but the production and precision is so neat to see. Raw, in progress, and completely finished parts lay on their skids and imitated art as they waited for shipment.
These smaller parts have so much to each of them and are piled randomly in a bin. Every little line and hole and edge so perfectly done.
More circular metal art laid out on a landscape of particle board. Even the metal scraped from the parts in the image below is a feast of lines and shadows and layers of depth.
The guy at the workstation muttered something about espionage as I was snapping pics. I told him I am a world-famous blogger and these shapes and textures are just too fascinating to stop and snap.......and I was into espionage.
I don't have a monochrome avatar for the bottom of this post and will have to make one. Until then, here is a black and white Zeke with his Les Paul.
Will you join the Monochrome movement on Mondays with me?
Those are great black and whites. A good black and white has contrast and texture, and these meet both those perfectly. Awesome stuff!
Great pics.

Very nice industrial shots. Not something everyone gets to see.
Great shots @zekepickleman
I love the uniformity of some and then the chaos of some of the others.
The monochrome makes all of your shots look very classy.
Nice work.

Great photos. The monochrome works well with industrial material. I really like the second picture (not including the title photo) of the parts sitting in distinct lines. That one is very cool

Love the black and white pics of the parts! The complex reflection patterns on the surface fits the monochrome theme perfectly :)
