Risk of cardiovascular risk increases even after taking a single cigarette a day
Many people think that only a cigarette in the day comes? The risk is very little. But research says it is different. On Thursday, a study published in the Medical Journal BMJ said that if drinking 20 cigarettes of whole pack, the risk of getting heart disease and stroke, only one cigarette is consumed, but nearly half of them are at risk.
The report's lead author Alan Hanksha said, "We think that if one drink instead of 20 cigarettes a day, only five percent of the risk of heart attack can be affected. But he told AFP that it is applicable to lung cancer, but it is not right to be infected with heart disease and stroke. Even after drinking just one cigarette a day, the whole packet is about half the risk of smoking.
He also said many people think that drinking a few cigarettes on the day does not harm the long term. It is said in the report that such an idea is absolutely wrong. It is to be noted that, according to the World Health Organization, almost 70 million people die every year due to smoking worldwide.

Oh! I would really hope this message got to the ears and hearts to every smoker out there, as a medical practicioner, I see many many patients with Myocardial Infarction and hystory of tabaquism. Many of them are 50+ years, but, I have seen younger people 30-35 y-old die beacause Myocardial Infarction and each one of them smoked and had other metabolic problems.
