The Diary Game (Tuesday, October 22, 2024) Preparation for the Funeral of the Wife's Grandmother and Power-Up of the Steemit Account
Hello everyone, friends...
It's great that we can meet again. I'll share a story about The Diary Game, I hope my friends like it.
This morning my emotions were almost ignited by the attitude of someone at the coffee shop when I bought a packaged coffee. Of course, as an older person, he was very inappropriate to say words that offended me without me knowing why. At first, I still thought it was normal for his words to make fun of me as if I was showing off the smartphone I had when taking photos at the photocopy shop as material for my activities on the Steemit platform.
But over time the person became more and more outrageous in uttering inappropriate words, and it is impossible to write them here. When I reprimanded him, he answered lightly and sarcastically while smoking a cigarette in his mouth with a glaring look in his eyes. He also challenged me to a one-on-one duel because he did not accept being reprimanded.
I could only smile in surprise hearing his words as if blaming me for all of this happening. My emotions were increasingly out of control when he pointed and continued to curse me with dirty words. I tried to pull him out to duel, but the visitors in the coffee shop simultaneously got up from their seats to prevent a fight from happening.
They all calmed me down so as not to entertain such a person, where according to their statement that the person was being sensitive due to his personal problems. Because I respect the village elders in the coffee shop, I finally gave in and avoided the person rushing home to his place of business to start his activities. Arriving at my place of business, I enjoyed breakfast feeling a little annoyed by the incident earlier.
Today my wife forbade me from going to the garden because she wanted to go back to her hometown to visit her sick grandmother. After dropping off my child at the afternoon religious study center at 14:45, with my permission my wife went back to the village to see her grandmother who reportedly had been lying weak for almost a week.
At 16:10 my wife called to inform me that her grandmother had passed away. In an instant I closed the door of the photocopy shop and picked up my child at the religious study center to join my wife in the village, preparing everything that would be visited by mourners. I first went home to get the car because my wife had used the motorbike when she went back to the village.
Arriving at my wife's grandmother's house, I saw that there were already relatives and friends who were preparing various equipment for the funeral that would be carried out. The result of the family members' deliberation, the burial of the body would not be carried out today because there was no time to catch up as it was getting late and there were still many preparations that had to be done.
Then, I and several villagers set up a tent as a place to welcome the mourners who came. The tents that were set up were the local village inventory, and could be used by anyone when needed. Before the tents were even set up, the sound of the Maghrib call to prayer was heard from the nearest mosque, making us stop for a while to perform the Maghrib prayer in congregation.
Then at night the tent installation was continued until finished. Some residents were busy preparing an emergency kitchen as a place to cook food for the mourners who came which would last for seven days and seven nights as the custom and tradition of our people, Aceh. Because the funeral would be held tomorrow morning, my wife, children and I went home to shower and rest.
So that's my short The Diary Game for today, that's all and thank you for taking the time to read my writing and giving me support as encouragement to always present better works.
While writing this daily story, I have done Power-Up on my steemit account as much as 25.964 STEEM, so my Power-Steem has now increased to 7,084.979 STEEM. I always want to increase the amount of Power-Steem even though it feels stuttering. I admit that so far I have rarely received support from sc01 and sc02, but that does not discourage me because there is no effort that does not produce results. KEEP THE SPIRIT!!!
Kind regards,
@yuswadinisam
