Once the class on this subject of illustration has been understood, I can define it as an image where visual representations can be made, be they graphic, printed, artist or digital. These illustrations play an important role in the world of Design because they provide the public or society with a better form of communication.

In other words, to make an illustration it will depend on the creativity and skills of the designer, since it serves to give information or simply decorate and represent an image making communication easier for the user.

Illustration is a wide field, and you can see that in the class implemented by the teacher, for that reason, today I will show and explain other types of illustrations that exist:

• Portrait illustration:
  This portrait refers to drawings that are made by hand or digitally. These types of illustrations are very delicate because it has to be shortened to the references given by the users and starting from that point, the colors, lines and details are mixed.

• Ilustración publicitaria:
  This illustration is the most used in the commerce industry, as it allows differentiating the work of each store and making a great competition. In other words, this illustration is instrumental in making it recognizable and through the illustration attracting the public's attention.

• Illustration for Videogames:
  This illustration is also known as visual development, an art form that combines aspects of drawing, illustration, and design.

• Illustration for cinema:
  This publication is linked to advertising illustration, since it brings together several art techniques, they are also important for posters and the visual communication of the public, each color, shape, texture and design makes the illustration of the cinema more wonderful.

It should be mentioned that graphic design has been considered a commercial art, while illustration is seen mainly as a work of art. For this reason, I consider that this is one of the most striking differences that these two points of graphic design have.

That is, the design consists of projecting visual communications intended to convey specific messages and the illustration is responsible for clarifying, illuminating, decorating or visually representing a drawing and images.

Illustration is of great importance because it tries to implement images accompanied by text since this is allusive to art. Also to facilitate the reader or the general public to have a better composition of the subject where they will consent to the message that the illustration wants to convey.

The illustration tries to convey a more sentimental or emotional message by applying graphic design tools or techniques. illustration consists of capturing the art of a message and transmitting it through an image that immediately catches the attention of all viewers

Conclusion

We must understand that graphic design is a discipline that aims to devise and project messages through the image, while illustration is to create something from nothing, that is, something that is abstract in order to synthesize an idea that is convey to the public in an innovative and articulate way.

The illustration is personal and the illustrator's style is fully recognizable, as he uses his own techniques to attract the attention of the public. Everything original will always attract attention
