Lotus Beauty,Lucky for Macau! 荷花純潔之美

今天早上跟媽媽到附近公園散步時，發現這公園裡已是遍池荷花，其美態真能使人心情舒坦。於是便為這些荷美人拍下了幾張照片，也有了作畫的靈感。

When walking in the park with my mom this morning, I found many Lotuses are full in bloom. Lotus, whose beauty can make people feel comfortable. Then I have taken some pictures for the Lotus beauty, and also got some drawing inspiration.

荷花，是中國十大名花之一，具有「出淤泥而不染」的高尚品質。自古以來有「花中君子」的美稱，歷代文人墨客都喜歡荷花歌詠其飄逸的姿態和超凡脫俗的氣質。著名的唐代詩人李白也在其詩中提到「清水出芙蓉，天然去雕刻」以讚譽荷花的自然美。

Lotus is one of China's top ten flowers, with "grown in mud without any dirty" of high character. Since ancient times, "flower gentleman" reputation, ancient literati like Lotus with their elegant attitude and purity. The famous Tang dynasty poet Li Bai is also mentioned in his poem praise the Lotus's natural beauty.

上圖是澳門的區旗。如區旗上所示，澳門特區區旗底色為綠色，圖案包括五星、蓮花、大橋和海水。
據相關介紹，澳門有著「蓮花寶地」的美稱，蓮花是澳門的區花，澳門的區徽、區旗的主要造型圖案也是蓮花。蓮花在澳門人心中有著特殊的地位，原因是200年前的澳門地形、地貌酷似一朵蓮花，並有一座蓮花山，後經填海造陸，使澳門的陸島、路橋、海域形成「蓮莖」（即蓮藕）式的獨特的自然風貌，可謂藕花相連、花開富貴，於是澳門人視蓮花為吉祥。

區旗當中的蓮花是澳門的象征，

1. 白色蓮花有純潔清廉的意思，代表澳門是一個清廉的城市。
2. 蓮花是佛教的象征之一，代表澳門的很多華人所信奉的佛教。
3. 蓮花的三片花瓣代表澳門半島、氹仔島和路環島這三個組成澳門特區的地方。
   五星代表中國，大橋和海水代表澳門的自然環境。

According to reports, Macau has "Lotus land" of the name which means full of treasure. Lotus is the flower of Macau, the main patterns for the regional emblem and flag .

Why Lotus for Macau people has special meanings, because 200 years ago, the Macau terrain and landforms resembles a flower Lotus, and we has a Lotus mountain also. After by filling the sea for land and the city planning, it made to being a unique of natural style, the Macau people though that Lotus in full bloom means everything goes well. So that’s why Macau people see Lotus is Lucky symbol.

The Lotus on the flag which is a symbol of Macau that,

1. White Lotus means purity, representative of Macau is a rectitude, city
2. Lotus is one of the symbols of Buddhism, many Macau peoples are believe in Buddhism..
3. The three petals of the Lotus Flower represent the Macau Peninsula, Taipa Island and Coloane which are made up of Macau. Five stars to represent China, bridge and sea water represent Macau's natural environment.
