Hi. I am the artist Yamo. My favorite painting subjects are fish and nature.
I am a digital artist, usually using photoshop and my Wacom Cintiq Companion 2 drawing tablet, to create my artwork.
"Hitting The Shore" an 8 x 10 digital painting is one of the most recent paintings I completed before starting my page here.
It depicts the California Grunion, (Leuresthes Tenuis) landing on the shores of Southern California during a full moon night where they will mate in the sand, burying their eggs at the high tide, trusting their futures to dry land until the following highest tide two weeks later.
"Born to be Free" a 16 x 20 painting I completed last year depicts the returning highest tide, (New and Full moon nights) releasing the fry into the ocean to continue the cycle!

I'm willing to do commission work. Nature is my best subject but I like to paint many different things. Let me know what we're talking about. I'm not sure how long it will take me to get comfortable with steemit but I like to talk art!
