Yes, I'm asking if you want to peek into my pockets?

I know, you ain't a pickpocketer, so why should I fear to let you see what's in my pockets? (I won't mind even if you were one ...'coz you will soon find out that it won't make much sense to any professional pickpocketer 😉).

Actually, it's more of an obligation to throw my pockets on the table as all these days I was keenly peeking into others' pockets. I'm thankful to @armshippie for hosting this interesting pocket dump contest. Through this contest, I came to know what amazing things people carry in their pockets. This made me wonder about my pockets.

The Most Boring Pocket Dump Ever

This is literally the most boring pocket dump. Don't blame me later that I didn't warn you in advance.

You know, the fact is many of my clothing don't even have a pocket. This fact itself makes me a person from 16th century and would disqualify me from this contest. But when I do go out with cloths sewn with pockets, what do I use them for?

So I started thinking what do I put into my pockets when I go out, as generally I don't want to keep anything on me.

Yesterday night, I went out to some function and remembering this contest, I checked up my pockets in between the function. I found there were only two things in my pocket. I thought it won't be fair to tell you only about two things. So today, I stocked up my pockets with some more things I usually carry in my pockets before dumping them on my side table.

Here's what I could dump out:

The items you see here are:

  • Handkerchief (nah, it's not a napkin. I use a big fat hankie 😊)
  • Some ID card (to verify my identity to authority in case of need or emergency)
  • Mobile phone
  • Some fiat change.

And that's pretty much it is. Sorry, I don't carry many things with me. (I travel light 😜). I don't even carry a driving license because I don't have one 😜.

Lesson To Learn:

Don't try to peek into pockets of minimalist people. Nothing could be more boring!

What I love about this contest is the prizes on offer. I won't need any pockets to pocket it in case I win.

Wish me good luck, guys! 😊

I liked the way you have written this post. You really have that talent of narrating!, which I found so nice to read...:)
And....This is my first upvote and comment I am posting -using my laptop.. :):):)
For posting my blogs, I am still not comfortable with laptop, yet...

WOW, thank you for the sweet words and many many congratulations & best wishes for your Steeming journey from a laptop! (Shhh.... good-karma may be watching it 😉!).

It makes me happy to see you using laptop now. You learned it really quick!

It's my honour that you chose this blog as your first interaction point from your lappy! Thanks a lot!

Yes,Yes... I must keep quiet! That prize is yet to be announced!! ;) :)

Different and interesting. All the best!

Thank you dear!

It's always good to go light. Even tho I've a driving licence and a card holder I never carried them along. It majorly stays in my office bag/car dashboard.

Our pocket contents are absolutely same except that I fear loosing my I'd proof and all the efforts of procuring them again. Have them on my phone and that's it. So a handkerchief + phone and some cash that's it.

WOW, good to find someone exactly similar to myself 😊!

I agree that carrying original ID proof could bring us a lot of trouble, if it's lost. But I don't always carry a phone with me. So I used to carry some different ID proof like some club membership card, when I'm in my own town (currently it's damaged and needs renewal so I switched to this ID). I carry Govt issued ID card only when I travel out of station.

Makes complete sense. One I'd proof is mandate when you are traveling out of town

Thank you for joining in on the fun! I'm glad everyone seemed to have some fun.

Yup, it was totally a fun activity to do and watch others do. Hope to see more of such fun contest from you.

I still have some of those rupeeh notes. Travelled through Rajastan/Udar Pradesh once.
Greetings from Holland i.e. Dairy country #1!

Glad that you have some of them as memories. I'm from Rajasthan. Only if we knew each other then, we could have discussed more on dairy 😊
