Cryptocurrency in Indian University
I'm glad to see the awareness regarding cryptocurrency is consistently rising among the general public in India. With questions being asked on cryptocurrency, blockchain technology and bitcoin in various competitive examinations, it's compelling for students to get some basic knowledge of this field now.
Today, Coin Crunch India posted this interesting photograph of a University examination of Mangalore University:
It's interesting to note that it's an open question worth 15 marks and can be answered descriptively in upto 7 pages. I was wondering how much an examiner himself / herself knows about cryptocurrencies if students can write upto 7 pages about it!
In yet another interesting development in Southern India, Telangana State has conceptualised India's first blockchain district. Read more about this news in this post by @firepower.
In August of last year, State Government of Telangana had signed a MoU with Tech Mahindra, Nucleus Vision and Eleven01 Foundation to launch India’s first Blockchain District. With the release of Draft Blockchain Policy, this is now taking shape in Hyderabad city, the State capital.
