Poem / Karma
Hey everyone I posted a new series I'm working on, if you haven't seen it or want to check it out you can do so here.
Karma
The good
I've been around for a few years
I might not have the experience of most
But I have witnessed
What happens to the good when they don't boast
They are rewarded according to their deeds
They have a good life
People think them to be weak
But they have endured more than their fair share of strife
The Bad
I've seen this first hand
The things that happen when we act bad
The stupid words we say
Come back and haunt us every day
A close friend of mine
Did something that I knew
Would destroy his relationship in time
He thought I'd be there but I ain't part of that crew
He was rewarded according to his misdeeds
And now everyday to his love he pleads
I find it funny that he tries to cover it with lies
Even though she saw it with her very own eyes
May this be a lesson, every day you have the agency
To make choices that can influence everything
The good will leave you whole
While the bad will leave you 6 feet under
Digging your own hole
Strive to be the first
Fill your heart with love
until if bursts
I hope you will all be inspired
To use the good karma that is easily acquired

I may not believe in the religion from where karma comes but I do believe in karma, karma is always there and will always be there :)
Nice poem and although I don't believe in karma, I do believe in consequences and think it's good to do good for goodness sake.
Maybe in the part of the world where you live, in my own part of the world KARMA is evident
Karma and cause and effect (consequences) are one and the same thing. Although people have a "magical" or superstitious understanding of the term, at its core it means the consequences of the universe's laws. In western culture its meaning is quite distorted and misunderstood.
I don't fully believe in karma but I do beleive your actions will one day catch up to you.
