Heavy Burdens?

Let me hear
All your craziest fears
Let me share
All the feelings I've had to bare

Let speak about the past
See what holes were left by the blast
All our heart ache and sorrow
Put on pause for tomorrow

I've always had a fear
So much so, it brought me to tears
I've experienced so much death
Now It barely has me upset

I've adopted a motto
To grab life by the horns
To give it full throttle

I carry many burdens
But each have a lesson within
That one day I'll see
When I reflect, look back
And smile upon it with glee

We all carry very heavy burdens, we just need to find new ways to manage them.

Very beautiful poem! Writing poetry is something myself and @td4me80 do on our free time. This one short piece we wrote last weekend titled 'Puddles to Frost' :

My alarm was set for the day to start,
The sun rose high and made its mark,
Frost to puddles and flowers to bloom,
My love left and promised to return soon,
Days to months and months to years,
Never to return; left in tears,
Turn the pages of night 'till noon,
Never to return, so much for soon,
When time slows down, matter does too,
Stars in the sky won't hold true,
The sun never rose and left a gloom,
Puddles to frost and nothing to bloom..
