Back to school...
I can't deal
I don't wanna go back
To that learning institution
That only make my thoughts black
I'm not ready for school
I don't care if I'll just be seen as a fool
I don't find the need for most of the useless information
I have a pretty good imagination
I'm not ready for this hell
I don't want to have to hear the knell
I wish I could just leave behind
The pieces of school that don't contribute to my life
I don't particularly like teenagers in general
They make me go all feral
The rubbish they can conjure up
Just to spite each other
By belittling their mothers?
What does that matter?
I don't have patience for teachers
That just end up being preachers
I don't want to have to deal
With the way everybody feels
I just need a few more weeks
Because honestly school makes my life bleak
I need more time to rest
Then maybe I'll try my best

Nice poem Ethan! I agree with you, the thought of going back to school doesn't conjure good feelings for me. The funny thing is, even once you have a college degree, they try to pressure you to get another (Master's) degree! It's never enough, and so much of what they do is suppressing your originality, like you mentioned. You seem like a very creative individual who thrives on your own just expressing the experiences you go through. So whether you go back or not I hope you can carry that light into every scenario and make the best of it. Have a great day,
