Andorinhas Waterfall - South of Brazil Hidden Gem
Andorinhas Waterfall is located in the city of Rolante, in the state of Rio Grande do Sul (south of Brazil).
We had to walk in the jungle around 1.5 kilometers since we left the car on the "parking lot".
This hidden gem area is located 20 kilometers from Rolante's city centre.
Here are the coordinates: 29°34’14.2″S+50°28’53.4″W
The Andorinhas Waterfall received this name from the local people because of the large numbers of swallows that fly over this place.
Abseiling is a common practice on the waterfall area. In case you visit this place, i just recommend you to be careful with the slimy rocks when crossing the river. You have to cross the river walking on the rocks twice in order to reach the spot :D
