Re-Introduction: My first week's experience.

When I first signed up for Steemit 2 weeks ago, I didn't really know what I would find, then when I received the email to create my profile a week ago, I just jumped on without really looking around and getting a feel for the community.

As a musician, I have a ton of experience on various social networks, but this community is very different from anything I've seen in the past. For one, there is a wealth of information. I've been soaking up as much info as I can on cryptocurrencies, blockchains and the like, and what I am finding is some of the best information online is a lot of times found in some of the blogs I have found in this community. I am very thankful for that.

I am primarily a musician, but I also paint and have other things on the horizon. I've become very interested in cryptos this year and it really is consuming a lot of my thoughts. In a certain sense, crypto itself is a work of art. No Bitcoin is the same coding and millions are being made, each one unique, that is something absolutely amazing. Cryptocurrencies started a revolution with a decentralized money that gives the power to the owner. Steemit started an evolution of social networks, giving power to the owners of their profiles without censorship. The member isn't being made into a product to profit from via marketing lists, but rather, the user generates wealth simply by using the system and in turn adding to the value of the community by participating in it. It's really pretty incredible when you think about it.

I want to mostly post about cryptocurrencies but want to balance it with art, music, film and an occasional funny story.
