Biography and Mystery of Eddie Vedder [part.7]

Dave Silva (Bad Radio bassist) was admitted to the persona and charisma of Eddie. During a live audition, Eddie was able to impress them in no time. 

"Eddie has something from within, lots of energy. We all agreed to choose it. We were fascinated, "Silva recalled.  

In the San Diedo music community, Eddie is also known as an active person. He hangs out in several clubs with the promoters and band managers. Includes often help make flyer design. In fact he is willing to become a roadie in a club just to build a network and association.  

Eddie's quality of competitiveness and persuasion also made him quite dominant as a decision maker in Mookie Blaylock. Including when he proposed a band name replacement taken from his great-grandfather, Pearl. EDDIE ENERGY 

Pearl Jam's first album released by Epic Records is Ten. Although the explosion process is not as fluid as Nevermind (Nirvana), sales of this album is fantastic. Until now, Ten won 13 times platinum and became one of the most influential album of the 90s era.  

In addition to the lyrics, the vocal and emotional energy that Eddie enlivened on each song was Ten's power. Eddie manages to deliver a distinctive singing manner. Characters that much affect the band's vocalist afterwards. Even some of them are thought to be copying Eddie's way of singing.  Eddie's vocal energy power has been realized by Ament and Gossard from the beginning. The first time he listened to the demo 'Mamasan' in his apartment, Ament was amazed and immediately called Gossard to come soon. Gossard was impressed. "When I first heard the tape, I did not admit it. It's like he's writing a song with us, "he said.  

Likewise with Chris Cornell who was impressed when Eddie filled the Hunger Strike (Temple of the Dog). According to him, Eddie did not know what vocals he wanted on the song. "And he (Eddie) sang exactly what I imagined. It's very natural, "Chris recalled.
