The process of control over the Russian economy and finances, and consequently over the entire state, does not occur through the seizure of industrial leaders such as Gazprom, Rosneft or Rusal. These assets are under the vigilant control of the highest officials of the state. Now the large-scale enterprises of Russia are subjected to a large-scale attack, from whose activities the main industrial enterprises critically depend.

Enterprises with a rich history (for decades still under the Soviet Union) are now exposed to the critical impact of a whole range of technologies, disguised as usual manipulations with economic activity. Enterprises are moving into disguised and overt property of Western corporations with the highly suspicious assistance of federal structures and officials in the Russian government.

A striking example of such processes is the situation with the oldest Russian enterprise in the field of construction of industrial gas production facilities, founded back in 1945, Kislorodmontazh JSC.

Often this happens through raider attacks or the planned bankruptcy of existing Russian enterprises in the domestic market that are directly related to this high-tech industry.

Western corporations have objective economic interests. In particular, the annual turnover on the Russian technical gas market is now estimated at $ 3 billion. And annually this market increases by 6-7%. And although, starting from the 90s, Russian enterprises have already lost a significant part of this market, until recently this industry trend was still under Rusian control. Until the technology “on-site projects” came. These technologies are very often used in third world countries, and they are very simple.

In practice, the implementation scheme is simplified as follows:
On the hypothetical Russian giant of metallurgy, to ensure a continuous converter process of steel smelting, air separation plants (ASU) are installed to produce oxygen on an industrial scale. These ASUs were designed and installed during the Soviet Union. Now these installations are morally obsolete and require not just deep modernization, but replacements with more modern and productive ones. To the owner of the giant come solid representatives of Western companies in the field of cryogenic engineering and say:

"For our own money, we will design and build a complete new oxygen station that will work completely autonomously, and this modernization will cost you almost free of charge. For this benefit, we will remain the direct owners of this unique equipment for, say, 20 years, that is, for the entire resource period. You, in turn, will buy from us VRU products, technical oxygen, at the exchange rate. And, as a bonus, you have a legal opportunity, avoiding tax burdens, to transfer abroad to your foreign currency accounts part of your revenue in the currency for oxygen. And it does not matter that this may adversely affect the price of the final products of the entire plant, especially in the domestic market. We will deal with issues of technical oversight bodies, antitrust and government agencies. WTO rules that govern Russia are in our interest. And our representative offices in Russia have long become monopolists in the field of unilateral promotion of cryogenic technologies in your backward country."

And the owner, agrees to this simple offer, not understanding what kind of bondage he gets in the future. Instead of 4 old ASUs, three of which constantly extract oxygen from Russian air, and the fourth is in reserve, for maintenance, the metallurgy giant receives one giant ASU from cheap Chinese components. Plus, the new owners of the station place an emergency storage capacity of 2-3 thousand tons of liquid oxygen in extremely dangerous proximity to the ASU.

This option of permanent storage of a reserve of liquid oxygen is extremely dangerous. At the same time, in the best case, when stopping and unscheduled repair of the ASU, it can ensure the continuous operation of the plant for a period of only up to two weeks. The new ASU, with new owners, is deeply automated and works completely autonomously, with remote access through GPS channels from outside of Russia.

Such options for spreading “on-site projects”, with beneficiaries flourishing in the West (in the USA), create real prerequisites for industrial sabotage from abroad and even the emergence of a direct threat. In order for half of the plant to fly into the air, and workers go to rallies and demonstrations, fully supported by opposition media, various information channels, bloggers, NGOs and marginal politicians, they only need to carry out small manipulations on a computer keyboard located far outside Russia.
