Travel Pro Eats #76 : Thai Food Collage! Part Five (8 food photos and descriptions)

in #travel5 years ago

Hey there friends and followers! In this very special series I highlight some of the food I've been eating during my now almost four month stay in Thailand! Why have I been here so long? Well, it's one of my favorite countries in the world! I can live an incredibly high quality of life here for very little money; and so much of that has to do with the awesome, flavorful, affordable, and healthy food they serve.

During the four months in Thailand I spent time in Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Pai, Koh Phagnan, and Krabi. Just about all the dishes you see here cost between one dollar and three. Many were featured in my daily "Travel Pro Price is Right" game posts which you can see in my blog. Whoever guesses the price closest wins one steem!

If you have never been to Thailand this post is for you. If you've only been to Thai restaurants in your home country this post is for you. And if you just a foodie like myself then this post is for you! We are going to see an incredible collage of what I consider some the best food in the world for the price. Now let's have a look at what I ate during my time in "The Land of Smiles", Thailand!

Stir Fried Red Curry from Pen's Kitchen in Pai

Spicy Ground Pork Salad from Pen's Kitchen in Pai

Stir Fried Green Curry from Pen's Kitchen in Pai

!

Stir Fried Ground Pork and Marinated Egg with Fried Holly Basil from Pens Kitchen in Pai

Stir Fried Morning Glory in Pai

Stir Fried Vegetables from Pen's Kitchen in Pai

Stir Fried Yellow Noodles in Pai

Hi. Thank you for reaching out to me.

I posted a few of my Travel Pro Eats videos to your tasteem tag, but did not receive any up-vote. I understand you have a strict format, however I like to do videos, I feel they give my audience a better idea of the food and restaurant. With the price of steem down and you having such a powerful up-vote it would mean a lot to me if you would consider up-voting my "Travel Pro Eats" videos it would help me financially to keep doing my blog. They are basically the video form of what you are asking. I think your audience will also enjoy seeing videos and commentary of each place rather than just photos and writings.

Here are a couple examples of what I will submit if it's "vote worthy".

Thanks again and have a great day!

Ahhh. I see. I went to the site before but I never saw the link "post" which brings up the boxed to fill in. Ok. Maybe I will consider making some posts through your platform. Thank you so much for the info. Much appreciated!

Good luck for you. Looking forward for your first post on Tasteem.

I have all these Travel Pro Eats Videos already made. One in which I just posted to dtube as they give me nice upvotes often. Sometimes I'm their most upvoted person per week. They really like my stuff.

Since I can't upload videos to your site, and Dtube rewards me anyway, would you like me not to tag these videos to tasteem?

I'm thinking maybe you don't want them mixed in with your tag?

Maybe you do want them mixed in with your tag?

Maybe you do want them mixed in with your tag and you'll give me a little up-vote too ;) ???

With all due respect just let me know, and I'll respect whatever you say. I'm probably not going to be able to go with your format, as I've gotten into a habit of making my restaurant reviews in video form, and I believe this is what my audience expects from me. I've been here for almost 2 years now and it's been awesome gaining support and attention from big accounts like yours. Thank you in advance. -Dan

Hi Dan, @world-travel-pro, I am posting to tasteem with my food blog now and very happy. They do not take videos and they do need you to use their dapp and post in their way.

It is not hard at all though and I know you would do well there. I wrote a post a while back about how to do it. My only problem is being too slow - like always.

You only need 3 photos and 10 lines of text, the map reference, and a couple of other things. I totally love it and have been meaning to come tell you about it.

The other thing you need to do to get good votes is interact and share from there. This is not hard for me since I have twitter and fb and comment a lot. You might not be able to do that, but the votes will still be good. Maybe try a few reviews a week for a few weeks and see how you do. It's possible your dtube stuff is better for you, but you will not know until you try :)

I came by to see how you are doing, and it looks like things are going good!

Hi Sharon. Always good to hear from you. I've been in Bali the last 6 weeks. HAve some big decisions to make. I'm thinking Athens Greece, Sofia Bulgaria, then back to Kiev for a couple months. Or do a visa run and stay in Bali for two more months, or go back to my lovely Thailand for three months. Right now I'm leaning Eastern Europe, and you could probably guess why.

As far as tasteem. I don't think it will be worth it. Unless they give me like huge 25% up-votes or something and they won't don't that. My system is every 8 hours I post the game I do, a photo post, then I hit up my computer once a day and upload a video to dtube. That's about all the computer time I want.

Some would say I have the worst attitude on steemit and other's may say I have the best. But you know me, 30 minutes of computer time is about 29 minutes too many! lol

Are you still in Kuala Lumpor? If I go there, we'll have to meet up again.

Thanks for the info and wishing you the very best!
