Hey there friends and followers! In this "On the Move" video I show you exactly how to do a visa run from the north of the country, Chiang Mai Thailand to Myanmar and back in one day. It's not an easy venture, including ten hours on a bus round trip.
Many folks find themselves having to leave the country after two months having already done a visa extension of one month at the immigration office. This can be a real challenge for some including my friend Guillume, @teamsteem.
With over twelve years of travel experience I help my friend and I stay legal in the country and I show you and him how it's done in this flawless step by step video of our visa run to Mai Sai Myanmar! More over I give you a quick tour of the Myanmar side's Tachiliek Market famous for endless counterfeit goods!

I have not been there but I heard that the borders around Thailand are a bit dangerous in particular the one with Cambodia. The one you show it looks safe enough to travel for extend the visa
I never heard of a border corssing in this part of the world being "dangerous" this one in Myanmar was safe and easy. Thanks for supporting my work. Have a great day!

Thailand in general is great. I'm leaving the north in three days. Going to spend a month or two on the beautiful island of Koh Phagnan. Thailand is quickly turning into my winter home. Love it here. Great meeting you to at steemfest. :)
