The Tour Guide dog

Part of our Calaguas Island adventure is Trekking. At 6 a.m of our Day 2, together with our team, we start trekking to Sitio Tinago as we welcome the beautiful sunrise. It caught my attention the black dog before us. I was thinking that it was our Guide's dog so I didn't bother to ask. Behind us is another white dog that I thought also his pet.

We continue walking until we reached our destination. Everyone is busy taking pictures, the view is definitely amazing! A few moments later our colleagues were already walking down the mountain and there were only 4 of us left on top. We were surprised that this white dog was also there and even posed for a picture!

As we walk down the mountain, he runs slowly ahead of us. I was thinking that he's going to follow our Guide who's already down the mountain. But just a few meters away we saw him again resting in a shaded part of the mountain and he was, in fact, waiting for us! He has been panting too much hence my fiance offered him water on his palm but the dog declined. Instead, he walks ahead of us and went to an area where there's water.

We waited for him while taking some photos. He seems to know that we are enjoying taking photos of him thus, he stayed and continue drinking. After a few moments of walking, he stops on a shade of a tree and had some rests.

Therefore, we decided to have some rests too and get some fresh air. The place was so peaceful.

Look! we're like best friends having a great moment under the tree ^_^ Yay! I got to like him even more!

While we are on our way, I got pre-occupied of taking photos of wildflowers while the hot sun rays are touching my skin. I thought doggy already leave us. What I didn't know is that he's watching me from a shade of a tree.

And just about few kilometers more and we're already in the campsite. But wait! I think I'm following a wrong path! Doggy walked before me and leads me to the right way. Thus, I promised to give him a chicken reward for lunch. Sadly, I couldn't find him anymore for lunch. I tried searching for him but he's nowhere to be found. He might be having rest somewhere.

Just after lunch we had fun under the sun. My friends brought the tent on the seashore for easy access. I got surprised when I saw doggy behind our tent!

My fiance said doggy followed them when they brought the tent on the shore. Such a thoughtful dog <3.

I wish I could bring him home -_- I tried to find him before we leave the island just to say goodbye but I never had the chance to see him. I hope he has a loving family there. I really hope to see him again if time allows us to come back there.
