My Neighborhood Watch #74 - Reporting Events Around us

in Steem4Nigerialast month

Greetings everyone and welcome to my blog, it's me @woka-happiness, I bring you another report of events happening around me, special greetings and thanks to @xkool24 for organizing this amazing contest 🙏

This morning after my usual morning routine, I quickly prepared and left for lectures, and after class, my friends and I went to her house to rest for a while, after some hours of resting and chatting, then me and my friend went to the market.

This is because we were out of almost running out of foodstuff, so we went to get some of those things that were already finished and those that needs to be replaced again, with the way the economy keeps getting worse everyday ehhn, just to take a bike ride to the market that is not far from our house the bike man charged us very high.

Well we had no choice than to agree with him since we all know how difficult things are, also the sun was very high and that was the reason why we needed to take the bike ride anyway, few minutes later we arrived at the market and immediately proceeded to purchase the food stuff.

Things were quite more expensive than usual, I guess it is because today was not their usual market days, well still left with no choice we bought the necessary things, and left the others that we couldn't afford, later when it was almost even the market became more full than before.

We were through buying the necessities, and it was time for us to leave for our house when boom 🙆 we heard loud voices of people arguing, my friend said we should go and see what was happening, I said I was hungry and we should go home but she begged and a little part of me also wanted to go and know the reason why they were arguing😂

So we both went closer to hear what caused the argument, when we got there, we hear a passenger telling a driver that she was not supposed to come down in Akwanga, that she told him that she was going to Lafia but instead, the driver stopped her in Akwanga and is denying the fact that the lady didn't inform him that she was going to lafia.

He even claimed that she asked her while they were already on the way and she repeatedly said Akwanga and not Lafia, another passenger who was also among them in the vehicle, claimed witness to hearing when the lady said lafia, not Akwanga, so that was what they kept arguing about, it wasn't a funny situation oo 😂

It turned out to be a fight between people there too, and some of them who were not even part of the journey were the ones who got their selves involved, sadly enough I couldn't take pictures because I didn't want to get caught by them and be in trouble before they decide to join me in the fight OMO I don't have the strength to fight oo 😂

Thanks 🫂 for reading through friends

My dear, this is what is happening every where not even your area, passengers and drivers problems is different every day.
Some may be change of money and some is the argument from this perspective.
A time the drivers will be after picking up passengers for money sake not even knowing that the life of a passenger is important.
Even taking them to the destination is a challenging issue that brings arguments at all time.
My advice is that before someone could enter a vehicle please do let the driver know where you what to stop and don't give them money because if they don't take to your destination don't pay them.
And any time any one entered this taxi's, please having with you little changee that help you pay your way because big money do beings about issues of, you didn't tell me you hold #1000 Naira which is about 3 Steem equivalent.
Thanks for the update

Awwn 🥰🫂 Thank soo very much for reading through my post and for the wonderful comments 🫶 🙏 I truly appreciate
