Hello dear fellow steemians it is a pleasure to write a post in this community once again. So today i want to talk about manure and the types of manure.

Manure

Before we start we have to know what manure is. Manure is any material that is made of the elements which will be used by plants in other to grow freely. Such materials help to lmprove fertility of plants.

Types of manure

There are two mains types of manure and they are;

1. Organic manure

2. Inorganic manure

3. Organic manure: This type of manure is gotten from animals or vegetable origin.
   Example of organic manure are;
   a) Farm yard manure
   b) green manure
   c) humus
   d) Cover crops

A) Farm yard manure: Farm yard manure can be made from materials that are organic. It is a combination of grass, animal dung,sawdust, urine and other waste materials from socializing animals.

B) Green manure: These are fast growing green vegetation, which at the stage whete they are still green and fresh are hurried in the ground where they decay, they are used for manure. The most crops that are used mainly are the legumes.

C) Cover crops: These are crops that do not grow straight instead they cover the soil, it protects the ground from sun. They help to prevent the washing of the sun arising as a result of heavy rain which may lead to the soil leaching.

D) Humus: When plants and animals die,they decay to form a dark brown material.
Humus is the decomposition of plants of animals and are used as manure for the fertilizing of the soil.

1. Inorganic manure: These are plant food that are made from inorganic materials. They melt down and find a way through the ground when their wet, since they are in a concentrated condition. Much smaller quantities are received to keet plant needs. The most important nutrient of plants are:
   Phosplate, potassuim and nitrogen.
