Eye of Horus | Ouija - Illustration in Pointillism [Full Process + Video]

Today I am very excited to share my 2nd Art Video, in which I show you the process of this illustration that although the concept may seem a bit dark, I found it quite interesting.

On this occasion I drew the famous "Eye of Horus" or better known as "The eye that sees everything" , is a piece which is used on the board of the Ouija to visualize the letters of it and also not only is known as a powerful symbol of protection but also symbolizes our desire to obtain information for constructive and beneficial purposes.

Artistic Process

For the realization of this drawing, I did not use more materials besides the basic ones with the naked eye. A sketchbook (drawing or paper notebook), graphite pencil, erasers and thin black point markers, in this case I used the "Sharpie" brand.

First I started with the quick sketch of all my design and with the help of the eraser I adjusted some details, after having the sketch ready I made the outline of the drawing with the black marker with the medium point.

Then I began to do the shading with the technique of pointillism, taking into account that where there is more darkness is placed more points and on the contrary, in greater light fewer points and more separated from each other. I made use of permanent black markers with different types of points in search of having a greater variety of points and greater prominence of them, in specific areas of the drawing.
