Defying Gravity; Fantasy Photography
This was a fun shot I created inspired by Alice in Wonderland. The movie that was released in 2010 had a great shot of Alice hanging upside down from the roof. When I started to learn photoshop it was something I really wanted to try.
I created this image in 2015 so it's a few years old now, but it is still one of my favorites.
Here are the images I used to create this image.
This is one of my favorite dresses to shoot with, I unfortunately wrecked it by climbing a mossy tree and getting it stained, and then trying to wash it all the pretty lace appliques fell off. ..I only paid $14 for the dress, so it wasn't a cost thing, just that I really liked it. I still shoot with it, but it's not the same.
!
The look behind the curtain made the pic all the more interesting. Thanks for sharing!
I like seeing peoples behind the scenes stuff as well. Some might argue that it ruins the magic, but I find it just as interesting.
This is SO AMAZING!!! Your photoshop skiils are incredible! Damn
Thank you, and I like to think I’ve gotten better since I made this 😊

Extraordinary! I was looking at the picture for a while, but I could not figure out, how you did it, until I saw your images you used.
Yes once you see the pieces it makes sense...actually pretty straight forward just flipping things upside down and blending 🙂
love the image, great work. if you like this kind of crazy stuff you probably know of Brooke Shaden. if not you would probably like her work.
I do know of Brooke shaden, I have learned a lot from her creativelive courses, and participated in her Facebook content creation challenge! She’s amazing!
Clever! I love how you brought this concept to life!
Thank you, I’m actually thinking of doing more upside down images soon
Go for it! Looking forward to seeing what other ideas you have. :)

This is beautiful! Awesome job and choice with the mirror :D
Thanks! Glad you saw that little detail!
I think it's in the attention to detail that helps distinguish the hobbyist from the pro.
I know from experience that the details are VERY important to make composite images like this believable
