Art can be hypnotizing
This sleep-like state that is caused by another person on you and makes you obey to his commands, can also be observed when people stand in front of art.
Beauty can hypnotize and fascinate completely the viewer.
Sometimes you can meet this state of consciousness, where you seem to be "sleeping", but are still highly responsive to the suggestions that come from your mind, while working on your art...to put it simply, we can call this concentration.
I'm fare from being sure that the examples from my artworks that I chose to illustrate these words, meet this criterium.
I still hope that you will enjoy it....

“The scientific dictator of tomorrow will set up his whispering machines and subliminal projectors in schools and hospitals (children and the sick are highly suggestible), and in all public places where audiences can be given a preliminary softening up by suggestibility-increasing oratory or rituals.”
― Aldous Huxley, Brave New World Revisited
The better you hypnotize the more you see
