Question? Reward Pool Distribution? @witnesses or devs..
My question:
Previously, the entire reward pool was distributed each day based on the Steem price and weight (stake) of each vote. So, if one person posted and another voted, via complicated math I don't need to understand the entire reward pool would (based on the timing of the vote) be distributed between those two people.
Now that the payout period is 7 days, based on a 30 day average of price... (knowledge check here, is that correct?) How does that change how the reward pool is distributed? I don't need the math, just a high level understanding.
To test my hypothesis, the reward pool would now be distributed based on the 30 day average price of steem and weight of the votes cast over the 7 days?
I had a hard time formulating the question. Hopefully someone will understand it.
