Weekend Freewrite: 3/10/2018: Single Prompt Option: plaid
I knew exactly what I wanted before purchasing my new winter sheets. They had to be thick, soft flannel and color coordinated. It didn't take me long to find them, but there was one problem. They were plaid and that is just not my style. I ended up buying them and I couldn't be happier as these sheets are the warmest, most comfortable sheets I have ever owned. And the colors were a perfect match. My cat, Pachino was also happy with my decision. On the cold, damp, dreary, snowy, icy, windy, freezing cold days and nights, we both snuggled under those plaid sheets, and they kept us toasty warm. As with everything in life, things could be much worse; words that I live by. OMG! Can you imagine if these sheets were a puking paisley? I wouldn't have touched them with a 10 foot pole. They would have stayed in the store, making this winter much more difficult for us to endure. I suppose plaid isn't so bad after all.

Lol !! paisley designs was trending during my childhood ,it was a yuck to me !! Your Pachino is so Adorable , especially I loved the one eye opened pic :) .

I love when you share your photos of Pachino! He looks so sweet and comfortable snuggled up under the sheets! He makes me think of one of my cats, Cassie, who loves to burrow underneath the sheets and snuggle up!
Great point about the patterns, why can't they make solid tone flannel sheets? Is it some sort of conspiracy or a joke on us all? (Maybe the makers are hording them for themselves...)

Thanks! He is my sweetheart! I finally did my first weekend 3-prompt freewrite and it was so much fun! I won't be able to do one this coming weekend because my daughter and granddaughter are coming up (from the south) for a visit. They are going to hate this cold weather. I am so excited to see them! : )
