Day 210: 5 Minute Freewrite: Thursday-Prompt: tree
The cold breath of the wind, did not rescind.
Bud was the last to stay, on that winter day.
He kept the tree safe from the cold, which took hold.
"Bud, you will be a dud if you wake too soon," said the moon.
Staying longer, and growing stronger,
As it began to warm, nothing would mourn.
"Sprout and absorb, the power of the orb!
The tree is in need, energy you must feed."
Bea the bee, even came to see.
Thanks to Bud, not being a dud,
The tree is alive, and continues to thrive.

Bud is our hero, for having kept that tree alive and Bud, fortunately, is not one, they are thousands and thousands of them ... Very beautiful and elegant way to express and give the greatest importance to small things, sometimes imperceptible, that nature offers us.

OMG! I wrote "Bud is our hero" first but the only word I could think of fast to rhyme was zero, so I changed it. : )

@therealwolf 's created platform smartsteem scammed my post this morning (mothersday) that was supposed to be for an Abused Childrens Charity. Dude literally stole from abused children that don't have mothers ... on mothersday.
