Day 122: 5 Minute Freewrite: Sunday-Prompt: Spa
"Sensation Spa" was a popular tourist attraction. This was were you had the chance to perform a specific job for one day and to experience what it was like to be an important member of a colony, which was run by the queen. A total of 5,000-10,000 jobs were given daily; police to protect from intruders, builders, hunters for food and caretakers for the young. It was here, that you became one of them, to be a part of something spectacular; a once in a lifetime opportunity.
After the jobs were assigned, you were taken to a secret room. Special jackets were given to be worn, to show that you were one of them. To fully experience your day with heightened senses, you were given a sweet elixir to drink. These rules were a must, as it was the only way you were allowed to enter the colony. And once inside, you never knew who would be fortunate enough to meet the Queen.

Yes, it was! And yes, I was very lucky that she and her protectors didn't sting me. When about a dozen of them swarmed around me, I took off. : )

Darn! I would love to help you but I am having dental work done tomorrow. I have to be put to sleep because my jaw is dislocated and it will probably take a week for me to recuperate. So sorry...really poor timing.

Thanks for your kind compliment sis! I sure was lucky to see the Queen since the chances of that happening are slim. The others were protecting her and by the time I had about a dozen buzzing all around me, I took off before they had the chance to sting me. LOL! : )
