Happy Mario Day!
Did you know it was Mario Day?
It is actually a cute reason why. If you take the date it is March 10th, or Mar10, which spells mario. Ha :p. Its geeky but that is what you come to expect from this channel.
Mario games were a big part of my gaming as they were for a lot of people who grew up with nintendo/super nintendo. From Mario Kart to all the canon games, mario always brought quality. And who else spent the time getting all 120 stars in Mario 64?
The most impressive part is how Mario is still around today and still relevant. If I had to guess why I would attribute it to the fact nintendo still makes high quality games. A lot of gaming mascots came and went but Mario is still a part of the industry. And it looks like he is not going anywhere soon.
And if you are interested there is a Mario movie coming out by the guys who did Despicable Me.

Not only all 120 stars but even got them all for both Galaxy games which were also amazing! I miss those days!

I had no idea there was any such thing as Mario Day, really! It's an interesting thing though. I will certainly celebrate it from this point forth on annual basis by playing Mario Kart: Dobule Dash on my vintage Nintendo Gamecube, heh. :D
