Gaming Chairman Thinks Blockchain Will Be A Part Of All Of Industries
The chairman of one of South Korean's biggest gaming companies thinks blockchain will be a part of ever industry in the future. He makes the same point others have that blockchain is the same as the internet was. People thought it was a bubble and look where we are now. The same type of push can happen with blockchain in the next few years. It is still too early too tell but I do agree with his statement.
Let's make a list. Gaming is one industry that will be strongly altered by this tech. Why play a game where the economy is not on a blockchain. Anything to do with money will use the tech as you can see how cheap it is to send steem to another user. There are those who think record keeping is better on the blockchain but I am not versed enough to give an opinion on that. Anything with points or an economy will use it. Digital copyrighting will probably use it. Content and social will definitely use it. Similar to gaming why use a social site that doesn't reward you? And there are probably several other cases that will pop up in the years to come.
So yeah expect some big changes

People have used in game tokens to transfer value now for a long time, adding blockchain to this equation, where tokens can be traded inside or outside the game will totally revolutionize the space for sure!
Can't wait for the day where not only pro gamers can game for a living! The tokenized future will be amazing and will create a lot of opportunities for self employment thought the internet!

i will just say a simple idea that i though and is merging gaming with cryptos. Just imagine an mmo with it's own economy inside that is based on cryptocurrencies so in other words a real time gaming economy. how cool would that be?
