Cryptocurrency: It's Cash With Perks!
Who doesn't like perks. On the PlayStation perks give you free games. If you are at a casino and you get perks it is free food, maybe a buffet so you stuff your face to make yourself feel better after losing all your money. And then there is friends with benefits. Cash is fine but it really doesn't do anything. It just sits there. Unless you spend it you don't get anything from it. Except maybe a crappy small % from a savings account or "accidently" dropping your bank receipt that has a bunch of money to look cool (I have never done that, not just because it is a douche move but also because I have no money :p). It would be nice if money could do something else for you. If holding it actually had some benefits. Well cryptocurrency does.
There are other currencies that do their own things but forget them. Steem baby. It is a currency like the others. You can trade it, earn it. At the moment it is not really accepted directly (though you can pay for your parking in Devner with it) but you can trade it for bitcoin and then sell it for cash. But unlike cash, steem gives you voting power on a social media site. The more you hold, the more voting power you have. That means you can have a bunch of money and get the bonus of social media clout. And it doesn't cost you a thing. You want to advertise on another site, it will cost you. But if you have enough steem put away you can push your posts and others up the hot list. And every steem is still yours in your account.
The attention economy is the future. Having more tools that help get your work seen is a huge boon. Or you can help others with their content. The more you get from your currency the better. And it has the chance of going way up in value. This does come with the risk of the money crashing in value, but I am not saying put your life savings in it. It is high risk (only invest money you can afford to lose) but you can't lose money from just posting. Use steemit, post, you can make steem for free and maybe one day it will spike in the price to the moon. Win win.

I wish there was a cryptocurrency that could instantly be converted to ANY type of fiat currency digitally and then placed in my bank account. So when I travel over seas it's a simple tap on my cryptocurrencies app and I'm all set I just have to find an atm. Bitcoin can sort of do this..
Yeah that would be sweet. Bitcoin and steem can do that if it is accepted everywhere. But they are global currencies so maybe you will have your wish in the future.
