I think its pretty safe to say that I'm one of the lucky ones in the world of @steemmonsters. I constantly find myself punching above my weight in terms of league placings, which I'm actually putting down to my strategies and deck building skills, and I always do well with my end of season reward cards.

This season has been remarkable for another reason! My daily quest rewards have been unbelievable... I've pulled some good cards, some really good cards and some EPIC cards so far this season.

OK, let's go back to the end of the last and the beginning of this season. I finished (once again) in the GOLD I league, which resets me back to SILVER at the start of the next season.

I don't know about you guys and gals, but how I play #splinterlands is to play a few games everyday, complete my DQs and then walk away happy knowing my win to loose ratio is in my favour. I used to play hard, early on, and climb quickly, then spend the rest of the season having my ass duely handed to me by the far stronger teams, and struggle to complete my DQs.

I've not kept it a secret that I use all my saved DEC to buy summoners, in fact I talked about it at length in previous steemmonsters blogs. So since I don't spend my DEC on potions, you'd think I'd be at a disadvantage in getting legendary/gold reward cards... Well you'd be thinking wrong.

I'm going to show that almost everyday since the beginning of the season, I've received at least 1 GF or Legendary card from my DQ:

It started on day 1 - 3 reward cards.

Well tickle my pickle!! What a way to start!! Picking up an epic GF summoner. I feel that the Daria Dragonscale is an incredibly underrated card in the lower leagues. Its far cheaper than other summoners, but for less money, for less cards you can get a summoner that allows you to play much higher level monsters.

VALUE - $14.40

Day 2- 4 reward cards.

Straight in with another GF. Now admittedly, the vampire is a quick card, but unless you can get him to get a few hits in first, he's pretty weak and is taken out easily. This is now my 5th GF vamp and I've leveled him up.

VALUE - $0.68

Day 3 - 6 reward cards.

No GF today but I did pick up my first Fallen Spectre. A quick little thing, doesn't pack much of a punch, but for 2 mana what do you expect.

VALUE- $2

Day 4 - 6 reward cards.

Everyone's favourite.... The good old Creeping Ooze, and a GF to boot. I must be the luckiest SoaB to play this season.

Value - $0.99

Then it went cold for a few days. Picked up a few chickens and some phantom soldiers, but nothing to write home about. Then out of no where I'm back on my #winning streak!

The gold keeps on rolling in:

Then yesterday, I get that shaking feeling!! The shaking feeling you only get from LEGENDARY cards:

Value - $4.21

So from 12 days of playing I've managed to make over $25 just from playing along and having some fun..... Its the smart investment that keeps on paying out.

I can't wait for today's DQ to start, I'm feeling lucky. So now the question is:
