Hey there fine people, Steem Fest 4 is right around the corner and you just should deny that you're getting all excited! I will be putting more and more Thailand stuffs / Some fun facts so you could get to know the country a bit better before you land.

Thailand is hot! Really hot!

At the moment while I'm writing this post, the temperature is 34 ℃ or 94°F . Does that sound hot to you at all? It's been like this and somehow these past few years, it just seems like it's getting hotter and hotter. That's why the drink stores are popping out like mushrooms in the forest.

Boba-Bubble Tea!

Whatever you'd like to call it. Same same, not too different 'Bubble Tea', a type of drink originated in Taiwan. When I went to Taiwan, They're everywhere!!! CRAZY!! Bubble tea was once booming in Thailand when I was in Highschool (2003-2009) and lately it's back. Back even bigger than it ever was!

I have no ideas how many bubble tea brands exactly are out there in Thailand at the moment. Too many! Fun to see though. The more they come out, the more competitive it gets. The prices are getting lower and the products are getting more interesting.

I'm back to my hometown, Nakhon Pathom for a few days and was craved for some bubble tea (I think it's addictive!). I was just asking my cousins who live there about it and they said there's this one place just opened up. Good taste with reasonable prices!

RIN RIN Bubble Milk Tea

This Rin Rin Bubble milk tea is one of many brands that has been getting popular. A few reasons I could see :

• Starting at 19THB (0.60 USD) a cup! That's right!
• You never get to see the staffs' faces because you call and order!
• It's cute!

So here's how it works. They don't have that big of a menu. You should the items on the menu board and then ring a bell. After that, a seller calls you on the red phone provided. You pick up the phone, order and then pick up your items at the window on the side.

It's a chewable drink we all love!

I know not all of you have tried this! Especially if you've never lived or visited the Asian cities such as San Francisco or Vancouver. Hey! I'm sure you'd love it still! It's just irresistible. For this brand, just the drink would cost you 19THB. If you want something to chew, then it's 5 THB more. People love this kinda deal nowadays.

For me, I think this brand is ok. Not the best I have tried but it's just good enough for the price. I don't like the fact that it's pre-made. I ordered not even a minute and was gonna tell the seller, I would love it less sweet.

Oh, sorry, it's done!

Whoa! That fast! The tea aroma's not strong and yes, it's a bit too sweet. I like the texture of the tapioca bubble though. It's very chewy!

Next time when you come visit Thailand, you know what you shouldn't miss!
