Take a bag with you whenever you go on a walk. Just keep bags right next to your housekeys so you won't forget. Finding trash is not difficult, it's practically everywhere one looks. Picking up trash does require a bit of stooping, squatting and bending that makes for a kind of exercise routine as well.
The majority of the trash seen on the Lake Michigan shoreline, where I am seen in the video, is styrofoam, lids and straws that probably originated tens or maybe hundreds of miles away in creeks and rivers via runoff from areas where you might be walking right now. Don't you want a clean beach and see nature in a natural setting and not with man made litter everywhere? I'm sure your yard and floor in your house isn't covered by fast food containers. If it is please keep it there and not on the streets and hiking trails.
If we all just even picked up one piece of litter per day it would make a difference. One bag per week would be even better of course and one bag per day deserves some good karma from nature. Believe me it will come.
Don't rely on others to do it, take charge yourself and make a difference.

Hi, thanks for doing that. Make a video and post it here. You can inspire others too. Even just picking up what fits in your back pocket works if you forget a bag like I tend to do. Others might take notice and join you or think about doing it themselves too. Setting an example is the best way to get others to do the same.
