The evil house

I think you do have to be careful where you live, for some houses have unwanted guests staying in them...

Oh he was a terribly terrible man, a dastardly dastard and would give you the evil eye for no reason at all. And he made small children cry and some people called him El Diablo, but not to his face. He would fart on trains and almost make everyone die with his evil stink and he would sit there grinning like some kind of escaped convict daring anyone to move.

He lived alone in a big black house on top of the hill and in thunderstorms with lightning everyone would look up to it and feel he had started the storm and they would wonder what concoctions he would be brewing and then shiver into their beds and have bad dreams all night long.

But he wasn’t always like this; before he came to live on the hilltop he was a normal man like any other, but somehow the house converted him little by little until nothing was left of his former self and no one liked him anymore.

Then one day the house burned down to the ground; some say it was a kitchen fire, others say it was an act of god.
Soon after this the man returned to his normal self and everyone liked him again.
So the moral of this story is: be careful where you live.
