In Wertheim (Germany), next to the A3 to Frankfurt, you find the "Toppel's house".

It is an attraction and after passing by for so many times we decided to get out of the car and have a walk.

It is Toppler's world, upside down, we enter although it doesn't make much sense to me.

Google a bit or see here

Let's park and see what they have to offer us on this cold winter day.

A house like this doesn't look bad at all.
It reminds me of the "cube houses" in the centre of the city of Rotterdam. I always found them fascinating.

I parked next to this bike.
Not very practical, not in an upside down world since we still deal with the law of gravity.

Inside we hear the story of the "Toppels".
It is told in German and English and sounds like a fairy tale.

We have a bored couple with two bored and spoiled children no longer satisfied with the cookies mom bakes for them (now that is what I call a luxury problem!)

Lucky them a storm came up and turned their house, boring world, upside down.
They all had the same dream that night and started a new life...

If you are grown up already you can still pretend being Little thumb in this chair.
I like to meet the giant. Where is he? Did he caused this upside down world by sneezing perhaps?

It is not allowed to climb through the window.
The door is hard to reach. We find another way inside.

The bedroom is an entrance.
The bed is glued to the ceiling and I wonder how the family got in there.

You won't be using your computer much if it is stuck to the ceiling too.
Good there are mobile phones.

The white you see is the roof.

A part of the hallway.
Except for the phone the rest can remain this way.

The kitchen.
There is so much more space with an empty floor.
I would like to have the stove and sink on the floor though. Meals can be served outside. It keeps the place clean plus it is less cosy which means we all are skinny in a short time.

A pink room for a drummer.
The bored kid will keep busy to get into that bed. How about a hammock?

If you are tall you can reach the drawers etc. if you are small you can play once you grew up.

This is the best room.
I thought about this concept. There is so much space. A washing machine can easily be attached to the ceiling or wall. Simply take the concrete block out of it. It is what gives weight to the machine and keeps the machine at its place if it uses the centrifugation.

Look at the trousers and towels... to them the law of gravity does work!

It does not only keeps the floor empty and easier to clean but saves the back too.

A good option if you like to keep your toilet clean.

The bath tub was attached to the ceiling too. Perhaps used as a shower?

Walking and climbing through a house like this makes tired and gives you a weird feeling in the stomach.
You cannot take a seat only sit on the floor and the floor is the ceiling which is not at one level.

It makes it hard to read a book.

If a giant would fart against my house I would keep it this way too.
You can still live in it. Empty floors is a relieve and the ceiling can be used more. Good to keep things out of the reach of children and certain people.

The dog didn't survive.
It's headless. This is the proof this isn't real and you shouldn't believe everything you see and hear.

Without a dog around these bowls will remain empty.
It saves a lot of work too.
