The benefits of fleece

I own fleece blankets.

Fleece is a synthetic insulating fabric made from a type of polyester called polyethylene terephthalate (PET) or other synthetic fibers.

By now I discovered fleece and fleece are not the same but it is true it can keep you warm. It seldom feels as cold as my mattress. If I just sit underneath a fleece blanket I feel cold. Fleece does not keep the cold away and if you are cold you stay cold. A sleeping bag keeps you warmer if you sleep in the car. Not every fleece blanket is dried fast. My green does not, the one with wake up kitty on it does but is very small. By now ours are over ten years old and we can not say goodbye to them.
I wrap the pots and pans into it too. It is a good way to cook without keeping your pans on the stove or keep good warm without getting it burned (like in the good old days = my childhood).
More back in time, it was common to use a hay or straw box.

I can not show you a fleece blanket of mine since I left them in the car and my car is at the car service. The mechanic called this morning. It might take till tomorrow till the problem is solved, according to him I drive around in a dangerous car. Interesting is the danger started right after I picked up the car after it's last check-up and repairs done by them.

The good news about fleece is it is fake wool so you do not need to shave a sheep for it and wash the smelly stuff. Fleece dries faster and is a less smelly plus if you are allergic to wool you are better off with this fake plastic stuff. Soon animals are forbidden because they shit and breath too much and that is bad for the environment. I guess plastic and shopaholics are not.
