Searching for a peak.
@olivia08 runs the ccc-contest TAKE a PIC. This week's theme is Mountain.
If there is one thing we do not have it is mountains.
Even the one we call a mountain is not a mountain but a hill. In the future, we might have more if the garbage heap is too high to use.
It is flat over here unless you lay flat on your belly, keep your camera low and make a shot of the many molehills.
I only see hills and mountains if I cross the or some borders. It is hard to take a photo of them on the highway or out of a plain.
This once was a mountain (for us Dutchmen it was).
We call it a "Hunnebed". Those huge stones w're covered with earth and I assume grass and plants as well. You can step inside. This homemade cave is a... grave.
True... what you see is a huge rock.
There is a small cave in it. This one belongs to the Island Malta.
A bit more Malta.
It is mainly rock just like the Islnd itself and... it beaches!
In the mountains (or hills?) In Hungary you find these little hills.
If you visit the place you can make one yourself. It will do you good.
We didn't go over there for the mountains but to see the Stupa.
Drive into the mountains, leave your car behind and walk to this place and enjoy the positive energy. In the area is nothing to do but I can assure you this makes your day.
Termites
Their heaps are high and will only get higher. Sooner or later it is a hill or even a mountain.

@wakeupkitty wow, nice pictures. I love the rock with the cave in it, so cool. That is a huge termite hill can you imagine how many are in it.
I have seen even higher termite heaps. Better not think how many are in there or can come after you. 😥

Tienes montañas de piedras. Bonitas fotos. Me gusta la de los niños.
La primera foto es una tumba. Debería estar cubierto de tierra. Puedes pararte derecho en él. Los niños se paran junto a un montón de termitas. Vi mucho más grandes. Las pequeñas piedras que la gente construye después de visitar el templo buddah. Me llevé algunas piedras a casa.

Es bueno saber. Lo que las piedras no cuentan. La cueva también se ve misteriosa.
@gertu La cueva no es profunda. El agua muy azul. Le contaron a la película "La laguna azul" y allí se hicieron algunos de James Bond.
Vaya es un lugar que tiene historia de ficción. Que fino!!! Y estuviste allí, es mágico.
@gertu Fue una coincidencia. Yo no lo sabía. Buscamos unas vacaciones baratas y esto salió. Teníamos un hotel y dos comidas y no mucho para gastar en la isla. Fue bueno, nada era caro y la isla es pequeña. Puedes caminar y muchos botes te llevan al agua. Quizás sea caro ahora. No sé si alguna vez vuelvo. Prefiero países seguros. Ahora hay demasiadas personas que vinieron a buscar suerte y a hacerte pagar por ellas. Quiero que mis hijos vivan seguros y no sean violados por musulmanes.
