I present you a new shrink-adventure from the 6th floor. If you like to join the weekendfreewrite please do so. HERE you find the first prompt!

"There were snakes in the old stone place, but the grass grew so green..."

"You are not afraid of snakes in the grass", I asked.

She looked at me as if I completely lost my mind.

"Nooo, what makes you think I am afraid of snakes?"

"Well, you seem to have quite a list of phobias."

I flipped through her file. Only Mr. Monk had more and she even visited a shrink for 10 more years as I did.
She observed me closely.

"Are you alright?"

I nodded. I had changed my life and freed myself out of the strings of that lousy shrink and I would do the same with her.

"Why are you here?"

"I just wanted to tell you about my latest adventure. That grass was so amazingly green you should have seen it."

"You mean your neighbor's grass?"

"No dummy, the one in the old stone place. It all felt so familiar to me. Only that stone place is new."

"You just said it was an old place."

"Yes, it is but it wasn't at my time."

"Your time? Come on Eve, speak some clear language. We both know you are not nuts. Enlighten me and go home, start your life, you wasted enough time."

"I wish I could but I need to find him first."

"Him?"

"Yes, him the one you call the snake out of paradise. Well, actually he isn't a snake but a dragon. I wonder why you made a snake out of him."

"Eve, she is Eve?" I thought. "How come she is still around? Was it eternal life which made her?
I looked at her file and read: _ married to Adam S._

"So you need to find the snake who is a dragon to get back into paradise, which now is the old stone place and you recognized it because the grass was so green?"

"Can you help me?"

I grabbed the phone and kept an eye on her as I said: " Let me call Adam for you, he can help you find it."

"He cannot stand snakes, he hates most animals because he cannot speak with them."

"Oh dear, I have the first animal whisperer on earth in my office, asking for my help!" I thought.

"Caller, are you there?" Suddenly, another voice came on the line.

"No caller around", I said and kept the call on the speaker.

"Than you must be Eve's shrink."

"Yes, I am..."

"Tell her I heard her call and wait for her", the voice interrupted me. "She better hurry if she wants to travel back in time. Europe has no future. You are all doomed!"

A click ended our conversation.

"Well, you heard him. Adam is waiting for you, we are all doomed which means your phobias turn out to be true. What a relief this must be for you."

I stared at her longer as I intended. For some reason, she did look different.

"It's not him, but the snake who spoke."

She smiled the most beautiful smile I ever saw as she stood up. As I looked into her eyes I noticed they were greener as any grass I ever saw.

"Bye doctor, it was a pleasure to meet you and it's true what they say about you."
She gave me a hug and I felt she had a cold face and so were her lips as she kissed me on my cheek."

"Will you find your way now."

She grinned.

"You are not going to ask me what people say about you?"

"Not really."

"Go to the old place if you need me."

Before I knew she slid outside and I heard her whisper "once and never again!"
